Happy New year everyone

 Isn't this a lovely stamp, got it for my Birthday off Nicki, he is so cute, he is from Lost Coast designs I think. My memory is rubbish, anyhow I love him

This card was made from another stamp off the sheet of Debbie Moore designs. Think there are a good selection on this sheet and quite reasonable, enjoyed making these.
You know I am useless have posted about 4 cards to Folks and forgot to scan them. I get worse. Don't help with the holidays as you get muddled with the days then panic as you realise you should of had the cards in the post days before. Well just hope those getting them late will forgive me

A little bit of sunshine

Thought I would upload this picture I took in the summer, was really chuffed with this as I am a lousy photographer normally. Though it might cheer you all up, if like me you are all sick of this weather. Lovely to look at but horrible if you have to go out in it, you might enjoy a bit of sunshine

Little dancer

Fed up with making Christmas cards so have put everything away. Have just made this birthday card, I think this is a lovely image and it is another one off the Debbie Moore plate, that I used for the other birthday card that I uploaded a couple of weeks ago.

Woo hoo

 I have managed too get some cards done, thank goodness. Still not as many as I wanted but think I am gonna have too stop  now as need to get them in the post. The 3 little mice above are Penny Black

 The above card and the one below is a stamp I got off Darlene for my birthday and just had to have a go, I think it is lovely, he looks so majestic doesn't he, it is a Magenta stamp. I am tired now as have manage to do about 15 cards today a record for me lately

Christmas cards

 My cards are very basic this year, must be honest have really struggled, I have not got half the cards done I usually do and a lot of them are not even stamped. I do like the above image, really wintry

Could not resist this cheeky bear, hope I have not already uploaded him, think I  am ready for the funny farm. Anyway hope you all are not as behind as me

Happy Birthday Mary

It is my friend Mary's birthday today and this is the card I made for her, hope she likes it. The stamps are from Debbie Moore and very good value for money there are 12 stamps and some sayings. I am getting  to like a bit of lace, I blame that Carol and Chris for that

My clay period

This is a castle I made in the days I did pottery, loved pottery, you get get rid of a load of frustration belting a lump of clay . Made lots of things but this is one of my fav's actually have two of these. The tutor asked me how they got in as he could not see a door, well told him it was hidden, which it was, but also said if they could not fly they could not go in, he he. Was just getting to the wheel when I had to leave, I did so miss it. Made a plate once with a smiley face in the centre, the tutor thought I was nuts but what's new. I said when the last sandwich was eaten the plate would smile with relief as it got rid of it's load. Well told you I was mad

What I was woke up to this morning

Mind feel sorry for my neighbours. My Grandson rang and woke me up to say there was a fire engine out side our house, when I looked out to the window, my neighbours roof off her upstairs bay is hanging off. The firemen could not get it off, now there is some sort of crane there trying to remove it.All the street is cordoned off. Hope they can remove it without too much damage

Things I have made

I am showing you my first attempt at Polymer clay, I made these quite a few years ago and forgot I had used Polymer for the heads and hands. Sorry the photo's are rubbish but you can get the gist of them

Neet told me to upload these as I most likely would not of bothered, must admit I did enjoy making them at the time

 Above are 3 ATC's I made for a swap, you don't have to stamp on this group but I still find myself stamping most of the time, there is one not stamped though

This is a birthday card I made for a friend, love these stamps from Kristy, I brake for stamps sells them now.
They are photo stamps but I always get a great impression with these, some I really struggle with. I still prefer Brilliance to stamp with though. Anyhow hope you like them

My week at Neet's

Well I was really chuffed as when I went to Neet's she was doing a polymer clay workshop so I could go. The blue necklace is the one I made with her at the workshop, which must admit I was really pleased with being my first go at something like this. The pink and cream one I made the beads while I was at Neets, then made into a necklace when I got home, was great to learn something new

The above card I made when I went too the Padgate Christmas workshop, must admit I only made 2, or and a African Christmas card (he he) as Lorraine bless her bought me the stamp as she said it is very me, when I make another one I will upload. Did not get a lot done as I was too busy nattering to great friends that I only see about twice a year, so it was a great day. Jayne bless her organised it and made soup for everyone, which was really tasty. Must ask her for the recipe. Thanks Jayne for a great day and thanks to all my friends that made it really special and too Neet for putting up with me

Another KC challenge and going away hopefully

This is Nov Kc challenge, which a lot of you will already of seen, sorry. This month it is Christmas and they have to be white with one other colour. The stamp a friend sent me as she had problems using it, isn't it lovely.
Well ate something that did not agree with me yesterday, so have been yuk today and hopefully I am going away in the morning to stay with my friend Neet for a week, so hope I have got this out of my system. Also meeting up with some friends at the weekend. So won't be posting till I am back as have not sussed that out yet

Darlenes birthday card

Above is the card I made Darlene for her birthday, Happy Birthday Pet. Can put it on my blog now as it is her birthday today. I had a go at image transfer and it did not work so I put glitter on the image instead and it looks quite good in real life, as you know they never look the same when photographed or scanned, she loves feathers so had too use some of those and a couple of roses I made. I hope she likes it.

Couple of quick cards

 Love this tree stamp from Elusive images and had a few shimmery backgrounds done so thought I would make a couple of cards to have at the ready as they say. The one below I have used some of my leaves background as you can see, don't think they turned out too bad,

I really must start and use all these lovely papers I have, I don't think I will ever get through them all. Terrible when you are a card maker isn't it. I have a right fetish for paper and card, just can't resist it. Keep saying won't buy any more then see something else I like,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Well my scanner has decide not to work, which is a real nuisance and then my camera decide it would not let me take the pictures off on the PC, glad my Son came in, he showed me another way of doing it. Enough rambling, better sign off

Birthday card plus swap

 The above card is a birthday card as you can see, I stamped on  glimmer mist background I had made, you can't really see this in a scan, it is lovely and shimmery in real life. Love this little boy stamp and have forgot you makes it. Useless or what, I am sure someone will tell me.
Below is a postcard swap I have done and must admit I struggled. When some one tells me one colour, which as you can see is purple, my mind just goes blank, as I cannot visualise using one colour. Then I was told you could use other colours as long as the main one one purple, Duh,,,,,, anyhow this is what I came up with, not over joyed with it, hope whoever gets one likes it. I used one of  Simple expressions stamps, a lovely happy little girl

KC challenges

 The above card was for KC's October challenge, which is Autumn leaves as you can see have used a piece 0f my background I made from the leaves.
The one below is a sketch challenge again for KC. I love these stamps from Timetostamp, now sold by I Brake for stamps. They stamp great if you use Brilliance ink pad. Hope you like them

Halloween cards

 I don't normally do Halloween and here is my second post on them, ATC's the other day now cards.The one above I did for my STH Darlene on Katyscorner. The die cut is a Tim Holtz design for Sissex, must admit I love it. The little girl stamp I am sure was from Designs ink. I break for stamps I am sure bought these designs and the little cat I got off Darlene

This one I made for my friend Mary, this stamp is a Sweet pea stamp and the black cat is a belly. Hope you like them. I quite enjoyed making them

 Well here we go letter G Girl's ruin, love this stamp and had it ages but first time I have used it, thought it would fit in very nicely

 H is for Harmony can you imagine the racket they would be making if it was real,,,,,,,,,, Harmony not

Finally what can I say, it had to be a Indian for the letter I didn't it. Love this image he has such a rugged face, just like I would imagine them to look like. Hope you like my choice of stamps

Birthday card

Just wanted to try out adding a lace flower. You have to be careful of the width of lace you use as it looks silly if the flower is too big for the card, ask me how I found that out,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,  Anyhow just thought I would share and when I have time must do some more experimenting

Halloween

Just finished my ATC's for KC Oct swap, which as you can see is Halloween. The little witch is a Debbie Moore stamp, I really liked this, hope you do too. Must be honest am struggling again, wish I could get in a real crafting mood, need to get on with my Christmas cards

Leaves again

Well Folks this is the background off yesterday but have shrunk it so there are 4 A6 pics on a A4 sheet to make the leaves smaller, if any of you like it you can use it. Hope some of you do

Another one Folks

Here is another one Folks made from the leaves off a tree in our street. If you print it on A4 portrait and reduce it too 4 A6 the leaves are much smaller and look better

Hello All

I am back from my visit with friends and had a lovely time, must admit done no stamping yet but have just made this background out of leaves, some of which I brought back from Port Sunlight

I am pleased as it looks really good printed out and have turned the layout too landscape and put it on twice side by side so the leaves are smaller and that look good too. If anyone wants to use it please feel free

Playtime

 Been playing the other day and made some flowers, thought I would share, don't think they turned out too bad, seeing I am just learning. Above are made from paper and below are a couple I made from lace

Another one for Ethan

Well as you know I made him a Marmaduke card for his birthday, further down the page. Then he came in and said Nan can I have a Avatar card for my birthday,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, What do you do, being the soft Nan I am went on the hunt for pictures as I know there are no stamps for it and this is what I come up with. Must admit was thrilled with the pictures I got, although you really can't see it the 2 on the dragons are attached with strips of acetate so they look as if they are flying, well all I can say is he better like it. The other card,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, will give to my Son to give him, it won't waste

Last Deco pages honest

These are the last ones for this year, honest, her theme was country's so I had a good choice to pick from, of coarse did 2 of my favourites. American Indian and Asian. Do hope she likes them

At Last

Something to upload, sorry Folks just not been in the mood as have been a bit off colour. There is no stamping here either but this is Ethan's birthday card and as the boys get older I find it more difficult to make there cards, it was far easier when they were small and liked Winnie the Pooh

and am fed up of making football cards. Any how he loves Marmaduke so I thought I would go for that, just hope he likes it. I got the Happy Birthday from Sissex sale, it is brill isn't it and dirt cheep, in fact bought a few dies and was thrilled as saved a load of money. Worth having a look Folks

Deco's again

These as you can guess are for Nicki, was helping one of the girls out but when I looked at the theme which was letters of the alphabet I must admit I struggled. Anyhow came up with this, just hope she likes them. Coloured the backgrounds with distressed inks, then stamped a couple of background stamps all over.Then took all the letters of her name and put them on a block muddled up and stamped them all over. Made the flowers out of lace, well one has a flower on too as you can see and put a bit of lace along the bottom. They have not arrived yet but know she won't see them as she has gone away for a few days

Somthing different

Well here we go again looking for something different to make my Kids a different Christmas card, and this is what I have come up with. This one is just a practice, not just how I want it but

now I have done one I know where I am going, says she who mucks up all sorts. Anyhow now the task is to try to get up to date photo's of the other four. Just thought it would be nice for the Mams and Dads to get a card with there kids on

Rubbish swap

I joined a swap on one of my groups and you had to make something with something you would normally throw in the bin, soooooooooo the little roses I made from a few tops off Activia pots as you can see below. Firstly I punched them out then coloured them with Alcohol inks then made them into roses. Just hope it survives it's journey as it is going to the USA, I have wrapped it in bubble wrap and wrote fragile on the envy. Oh well we will see if it gets there in one piece. Hope the lady likes it

Birthday cards

The one above is for Jamie, she is 14, think they get harder too make for as they get older. Well I chose to use sugar Nellie stamps, just hope she likes it.
The two below I made from images I already had done, I am getting a real liking for these easel cards. Love this little girl she is from paperbag studios, forgot to say I used the free flower stamp off Craft Stamper, stamped 2 and sort of intertwined them, I quite like the look of that better than a one flat flower. Must admit forgot where the teddy stamp is from. What's new. I am hopeless, anyhow hope you like my efforts
